Wind Turbine: This 1 kWh wind turbine ties in with the tracking solar array to power our servers. The design of this system allows the turbine to be lowered for maintinence. This can be a big problem on ones too small to climb.
TS Designs hosts a B100 biodiesel pump operated by Piedmont Biofuels. The pump is open to all co-op members. We invite anyone stopping for fuel to come in and use a bathroom or have a cup of coffee

Burlington Biodiesel Club is a group from the area that makes their own fuel. Their reactor is housed in the back of our building. This waste vegetable oil, picked up from area restaurants is waiting to be turned in to biodiesel

Compost Heating: We have a few compost piles around TS Designs. This one heats water used to process vegetable oil in to biodiesel. We have another smaller one that heats a greenhouse.
